For couple of days before I left Egypt, I traveled to Alexandria. There is Alexandria Library that is the most modernized library in Egypt and superb Manuscript Museum. I was so impressed with the excellent support of the librarians (that area is not the area of Egypt). I thought that is the first time and the last time for visiting Alex, but I decided to drop by the manuscript center again.
Manuscript center can be opened for anyone who brings the certificate of graduate student (or researcher), which should be published by institution.
エジプトを発つ前の数日間、アレキサンドリアを訪れました。エジプトでもっとも近代的な図書館であるアレキサンドリア図書館があり、素晴らしい写本博物館がありました。そこでの図書館員のサポートには本当に感動しました（あそこはエジプトではありません笑！）。これが最初で最後のアレキサンドリアだと思っていたのですが、再び資料調査で訪れると思います。
写本室は大学院生（もしくは研究者）である機関発行の証明書を持参すれば、誰でも利用可能だということです。
